CodeCortex is available under the Apache License 2.0 as described in LICENSE. Those open-source rights remain available under that license.
The Community core stays open source. The project does not require a paid license for the core CLI, MCP server, local indexing, search, impact analysis, or local use.
Optional paid services may include managed hosting, synchronization, shared workspaces, team administration, enterprise controls, support, deployment assistance, warranty or indemnity terms, and negotiated enterprise agreements.
A commercial agreement does not revoke rights already granted under Apache-2.0. Any commercial license or proprietary component must cover only material for which the licensor has the legal right to offer those terms.
Planned packaging and the public early-access intake are documented in Cloud and Enterprise Early Access.
The early-access form is a public GitHub issue. Do not include confidential, security-sensitive, or personal information. Organizations that need a private discussion can contact the maintainer through the GitHub profile.
