A lightweight, high-performance Windows desktop task widget built with C++20 and Direct2D. Designed as an obsidian-frosted glass floating panel that sticks to your desktop edge with an Android-style quick-access handle.

• Global Hotkey Toggle (Win + Alt + Q):
  • Instantly expand or collapse the widget from anywhere. Overrides fullscreen app suppression to summon QuickTasks over games or fullscreen apps.
• Task Categories & Habit Routines:
  • Daily Active Tasks (Tasks): Clean daily workspace showing today's active tasks without long-term project clutter.
  • Daily & Monthly Habits (Habits):
    • Daily Habits: Routines (e.g. hydration, morning stretch) that automatically reset at midnight with day streak tracking ([Daily • 3d]).
    • Monthly Habits: Monthly routines (e.g. clean the room, clean the car, pay bills) that automatically reset on the 1st of each month with monthly streak tracking ([Monthly • 2m]).
  • Long-Term Projects & Goals (Long): Dedicated section for multi-day or month-long milestones with nested subtasks.
  • Completed Archive (Done): Review completed tasks or clear them in one click.
• Nested Subtasks & Progress Tracker:
  • Long-Term tasks support interactive milestone checklists with progress badges (2/3), collapsible chevron toggles (▲/▼), and instant inline editing when adding new milestones.
• Priority Levels & Visual Indicators:
  • Prioritize tasks via inline tags (!high, !p1, !med, !p2, !low, !p3) or the right-click context menu.
  • High (🔴 Red accent bar + [P1]), Medium (🟡 Amber accent bar + [P2]), Low (🔵 Cyan accent bar + [P3]).
• Due Dates & Deadline Badges:
  • Set deadlines via tags (@today, @tomorrow, @3d, @7d, @monday, @friday, @weekend, @YYYY-MM-DD) or context menu.

• One-Click Markdown Export:
  • Export active tasks, completed archives, or all tasks directly into GitHub/Obsidian-compatible markdown (- [ ] Task, - [x] Task) via the header menu or tray menu.
• Dynamic Accent-Colored Tray Icon:
  • System tray icon and UI accents automatically adapt to the user's active Windows personalization accent color in real time while preserving alpha transparency.
• Smart Fullscreen Auto-Hide with Hotkey Override:
  • Automatically conceals itself when fullscreen applications or games are active; press Win + Alt + Q to summon it on top whenever needed.

Requirements

• Toolchain: Visual Studio 2022 / Visual Studio 2026
• SDK: Windows 10 / 11 SDK
