Skill: code-review
Harness and version: ZCode 0.16.9 (Windows 11; skills synced via skillshare v0.25.1)
Model and effort: GLM-5.3 Flash (ZCode default)
What happened
Hosts vary in how much of a skill's description they actually show the model. The Agent Skills spec caps description at 1024 chars but leaves presentation to hosts; ZCode injects only ~250 chars (tracked upstream at zai-org/feedback#580). Claude Code and similar hosts show the full description, so this does not affect you there.
code-review's description is 421 chars, and its only explicit trigger sentence — "Use when the user wants to review a branch, a PR, work-in-progress changes, or asks to 'review since X'." — sits entirely past char 250, so on truncating hosts the model matches on the first sentence alone.
If you want to harden it
Moving the trigger sentence into the first ~250 chars costs nothing on full-description hosts, e.g.:
Review changes since a fixed point along two axes: Standards (repo coding
rules) and Spec (matches the originating issue). Runs both in parallel
sub-agents. Use when the user wants a branch/PR/WIP review or asks to
"review since X".
No pressure either way — happy to close if you'd rather keep the current wording.
